IIMCAA Connections 2017: Odisha's Prabir Pradhan gets Investigative Reporting Award

Annual Alumni Meet of IIMC Alumni Association - IFFCO Connections 2017, was flagged off at IIMC HQ, New Delhi, last Sunday. IFFCO Connections, which has started from the Capital will cover 11 states across the country before it brings down the curtain for this year’s Annual Meet in the city of joy, Kolkata on 23rd April.

 
IIMCAA Awards, a first of its kind initiative by the Alumni Association was announced during IFFCO Connections 2017 where the winners of the different categories received their awards from IIMC DG - K. G. Suresh, IIMC ADG - Mayank Agarwal, Jury Members Prof Jaishri Jethwaney, Anshu Gupta and Supriya Prasad. A team of 11 jury members decided upon the winners of the IIMCAA Awards. Awardees were presented a trophy and a certificate along with an award cheque. The prize money ranges from Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 51,000. 


The winners for the different categories include - Alok Gupta from Hongkong for Agriculture Reporting, Prabir Pradhan form Bhubaneswar for Investigative Reporting, T S Sudhir from Hyderabad for Political Reporting and Gautam Das from Delhi for Developmental Reporting. While Priyaranjan Jha, Anurag Srivastava and Farhan Khan, all from Delhi, and  Ms. Moksha Srivastava from Bangalore bagged the prize for best Print Production, Broadcast Production, Advertising and Digital Production Awards, respectively.
